Winter in Yellowstone.
To kick off 2025, I spent 15 days exploring the frigid terrain of Yellowstone National Park. Driving the expanse of the northern range most would assume the chilly landscape was void of life. The park’s -30 degree weather can be daunting, challenging, and unforgiving. With a keen set of eyes and a hunger for exploration, the lively ecosystems of Yellowstone soon reveal themselves.

Filmed on RED KOMODO X
I tested out my new camera rig during this shoot. I’m shooting on the RED Komodo X paired with the sigma 60-600mm lens. With some amazing periferals like the RED DSMC 3 Monitor, Raptor top handle, sennhesier MKH 416 microphone, core SWX Micro Nano Batteries, a Breakthrough Photography VND filter, and a set of Sachtler Flowtech 100’s this was a fanatic rig for filming in Yellowstone.
